Day 33: Awww Looky

I just loved these guys SO much! They were at the mall, spreading Christmas cheer in their freaking AWESOME kilts! Oh, they had Drop dead GORGEOUS accents!

Day 30 - The Rotunda

Waukesha is home to some of the most gorgeous buildings I have ever seen. Very old, and full of rich history. The Rotunda in the middle of the historic dowtown district is no exception.

Day 29 - My tree

My Christmas Tree is finally done..most of the presents are wrapped, and the cards are ready to send...Procrastination Christmas here I come!

Day 26 - 28 Snow, Snow, and more Snow

This weekend was rather busy for me, but I managed to take a few more pictures of the frozen tundra I call home .....and my first snow angel of the season!

Day 25 - Snowy Sunset

It warmed up slightly today, but it was still pretty frigid. However, I managed to brave the elements and drive up to the local highschool, which sits on top of a hill, to capture tonights' sunset.

Day 24 - Frozen Tundra

Well, we managed to get a high of 7 degrees today! It was -2 when I woke up with a wind chill of -18...yeah...that's pretty cold.

Day 23 - Winter Wonderland

Let it snow! Let it snow! But don't let me drive in it! This is something I took early this morning as the snow was falling, and I had an epic fail with shoveling. Some of the area was belted with nearly 2 feet of snow. Thankfully, we stayed under a foot...but not by very much.

Day 22 - MORE Snow!

I just took a walk, and it's that kind of snow that is heavy, wet, and perfect for snowmen. The kind that sticks to every tree branch, and makes it beautiful! It's dark out, so this is the best I can do. We are expecting a foot of snow by tomorrow morning...or so they say LOL!

Day 21 - Ah, snow!

So it did not snow all that much today, but it still made a nice mess on the roads. Expecting more tomorrow... 11 inches!! Yikes!

Day 20 - Party time

I had the privledge of volunteering at a children's holiday party today. We had roughly 1600 kids throughout the day, and some rather interesting characters walking around. You KNOW I had to take this pic! (Btw...I freaking love Elmo)

Day 18 - I love You

Today my photo is dedicated to a very special person in my life. She brings joy, kindness, and peace to every moment. I love her with everything I have.

Day 17 - Jailed

Louise (on the left), and Anubis (On the right) Are trying to break free from jail! We have to divide the downstairs or the dogs try to sneak down, and eat their food! *Shakes head* It's a full time job!

Day 15 - Blinding

This sunset nearly blinded me on the way home from the mall. I had to pull over to the side of the road and take this picture because not only was it stunning...but I am a sucker for a good sunset!

Day 11 - Midnight Madness

So I left my house last night at 10:30pm. Arrived at 12:30am in Kenosha WI at the Prime Outlet mall for midnight madness shopping. Stores open at Midnight till about 6am. Well, the first thing that happened was a line to GET OFF the freeway at the exit. We sat in it for over an hour. Today was eventful, didn't get home till 6am, and only had a bit of sleep. However, since this is just a photo - a - day blog...I have chosen the line outside the coach store at 4am this morning. This was AFTER the store had been open for 4 hours. You should have seen it when we first got there. And because I love you all...some additional pics for the heck of it. Oh, and yes...we are eating Chinese food at 3:30am *winks*

Day 10 - Thanksgiving

Day 9 - Lolita

We had a moment of sunshine today, in which Lolita enjoyed herself. She was bummed that it has since been raining, and is confined to the house. She does not 'do' rain.

Day 8 - Abandoned

Since my camera has decided not to cooperate today, I pulled this photograph from my archives. This is a barn in Iron Mountain, MI. It used to be an old antique store, but is no longer operational. I has a lot of charm, and I love it.

Day 7 - Still hanging on

Well, it is Thanksgiving in a few days, and my leaves STILL have not fallen completely. Lovely sunrise today though.

Day 5 & 6 - A Wonderful Weekend

Day 5 - Spent the weekend with some amazing people, and to cap it off, we had this glorious sunset on the beach in St. Joseph, MI!

Day 6 - In the wee hours of the morning, after learning indeed what a "power hour" is, I snuggled down with a good friend of mine to relax while we let our day come to an end.

Day 4 - Waste not, Want not

Louise has a thing for boxes. She believes that we should never throw anything away, and will insist on staking her claim to every box that is slated to be chucked out. Makes me laugh.
